I want to be able to send an email to Things with a link that I can click to return to that email in Swift Mail (or ideally as a message: link that can work across macOS and iOS).
I do have the requisite x-callback-url setup for internal uses, so I can experiment with this soon.
I’d like to eventually support both of the following options via a settings toggle or similar, but curious which you would prefer or find more useful: open mail viewer & switch to appropriate label/folder while scrolling-to & selecting the message in viewer, or open the linked message in a new thread window?

Hard to say for sure, but I think opening the linked message in a new thread window would be my preferred default.
